Mildred Bonita (Stay) Talberg, age 95, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 in Princeton. She was born on April 16, 1919 in Glendorado Township to Arthur and Bertha Bell (Shirkey) Stay. Millie was united in marriage to Carl William Talberg on June 28, 1940. The couple lived farmed in Glendorado on the family farm.

Millie was talented at embroidery and needle point. She entered many of her pieces into the County Fair for 4-H and had a collection of blue ribbons she won. She loved to travel with her husband and spending time with her family. Millie was fearless, kind, funny and was always willing to help others. She was a longtime member of God’s Greater Glory-Glendorado Lutheran and was very active in her church community where she taught Sunday school. Millie also worked as an Avon Representative.

Millie is survived by her daughters, Jeanne (Howie) Johnson of Sartell, Janice (Dick) Nord of Milaca, Sandra (Dean) Secord Gades of Princeton and Lois (Mike) Traut of Princeton; sister Fernie Erickson; sister in-law Lydia Stay; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl; daughter Sharon Putt; sister Beatrice Olson; brother Leo Stay; infant sister Ruth and infant brother Paul.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM, Sunday, December 28, 2014 at God’s Greater Glory-Glendorado Lutheran Church in Glendorado. Visitation will be held from 11-1 PM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Glendorado Lutheran Cemetery, Glendorado.
