UNDATED - Our mild dry winter has outdoor enthusiasts feeling a bit blue.  However, resort owners say there are opportunities to get outside and enjoy some sports.

Dan McElroy is the Executive Vice President of the Minnesota Resort and Camping Association.  He says northern Minnesota has good ice for fishing.

Also, McElroy says downhill ski resorts have been making a lot of snow and are reporting good conditions.

But, he admits businesses that rely mostly on cross country skiers and snowmobilers have been praying for snow.

Unfortunately for them there's no mention of significant snow over the next 10 days.
