ST. CLOUD -- A mild winter and below-normal snowfall has meant good news for some major construction projects in the St. Cloud area.

Sauk Rapids' City Hall construction project is ahead of schedule and under budget. City staff plans to move in at the end of April.

Microbiologics is in the middle of a $3.2-million expansion project and CEO Brad Goskowiecz says they're realizing some savings too.  He also says it means they can move in sometime in early April. That's about a month ahead of schedule. Phase II will then get underway this spring.

Other projects realizing some savings and uninterrupted work schedules include the $6-million Marco building project along I-94 and I-Self building project at St. Cloud State University.
