Michael “Mike” Glenn Cunningham, age 67, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016. Mike was born on March 24, 1949 in Princeton, MN, the son of Glenn and Jean (Pluimer) Cunningham. Mike grew up in Columbia Heights and graduated from Edison High School. Mike worked as a welder for over 20 years and then drove truck for a short time before moving back to Princeton in 1993 and working for Princeton Public Utilities. Mike was married to Carolyn Winter in Sturgis in 1990. Motorcycles were a huge passion in his life. Mike and his Schooner II biker friends volunteered for the Make a Wish Foundation for 20+ years, having parties and raffling off motorcycles to raise money for the charity. Mike also enjoyed golfing, gardening and announcing at barrel racing competitions that Carolyn participated in. Mike was known and loved by his friends for his cunning wit and plain speaking; he was a straight shooter.

Mike is survived by his wife Carolyn; his son Jacob Cunningham; and brother Roger (Marilyn) Cunningham; along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, out-laws and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

A Time of Celebration and Sharing will begin at 3PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton. Gathering and Visitation will begin at 2PM. Friends and family are encouraged to share memories and stories beginning at 3PM. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton.
