ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Metro Bus Transit Center re-opens Monday after about two months worth of renovations.

Operations had been conducted temporarily along the Lady Slipper lot since May 14th when the work began. It was the first major renovation of the Transit Center since it opened in 1992.

The new features include new concrete parking and sidewalks, three additional bus stalls, heated passenger loading sidewalks, new customer loading on the west end and extra lighting and video surveillance added.

The renovations were made possible after the MTC bought and demolished an adjacent office building in 2011.
