Metro Bus Changing Dial-A-Ride Scheduling Hours

ST. CLOUD -- Metro Bus is changing their scheduling hours for their Dial-A-Ride program.

Starting Sunday, December 7th, Dial-A-Ride customers can call to schedule rides Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Customers were previously able to make reservations from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., but the change is being made to allow Metro bus to allow staff more time in the evening to organize rides for the next day. Spokesman Tom Cruikshank says the more efficient they are, the more people they can serve.

The change does not impact when the buses run, only when reservations can be made.
