SAUK CENTRE -- A Cokato woman is facing drug charges after being busted with methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Stearns County.

At around 10:15 last Thursday night a Sheriff's Deputy noticed a vehicle without tail lights heading east on I-94, in Sauk Centre Township.

While doing the traffic stop, the driver of the car, 39-year-old Richard Braun of Inver Grove Heights asked to look at the tail lights, which the deputy allowed. When he exited the vehicle, the deputy saw a small pipe on the driver's seat.

The deputy brought his Police Dog Jax to conduct a search of the car. While searching, Jax focused on a purse in the car that belonged to Braun's passenger, 50-year-old Janet Felcyn.

Inside the purse, authorities found 18 grams of meth and $3,800 in cash. Felcyn, who had an active warrant from Washington County was taken to Stearns County Jail on 3rd Degree Controlled Substance charges, Braun was cited and released.
