ST. CLOUD -- Two men were arrested Friday night after a police chase involving a stolen SUV from Duluth.

St. Cloud Police saw a stolen Chevy Trailblazer in the 2500 block of 2nd Street North at about 10:15 p.m. When the officer tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver sped off, leading police on a chase through St. Cloud, down Stearns County Road 74, through a farm field and ultimately onto westbound I-94.

The vehicle then broke down near St. John's University. Both the driver and passenger jumped out of the truck and fled on foot.

The passenger, 37-year-old Isaac Zupan of Ironton, was arrested nearby.

A police dog and State Patrol helicopter searched for the driver. 24-year-old Joseph Morrow of Walker was later discovered in a wooded area and arrested.

Both men were treated at the hospital for minor injuries and then booked into the Stearns County Jail.

Zupan was booked and released.

Morrow faces numerous charges including unauthorized use of a stolen vehicle, fleeing police, driving after suspension and possession of a hypodermic needle.

The chase and search lasted about an hour-and-a-half total and covered approximately 15 miles.
