ST. CLOUD -- There's a memorial service planned for the teenager who was killed in Friday night's plane crash in Sauk Rapids.

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis says there will be a service for 16-year-old Alexander Voigt tomorrow (Wednesday). The memorial service will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the River's Edge Convention Center in downtown St. Cloud.

Kleis hosted Voigt as a foreign exchange student for the last 10 months.  He says they wanted to honor Voigt's life and are holding the service on the day he was to return to Germany.

Kleis says Voigt's parents are in town and will be in attendance.

The service is open to the public.
