Melrose Woman Hurt in Stearns County Crash

SPRING HILL TOWNSHIP -- A Sauk Centre man was ticketed for driving after cancellation following a two vehicle crash Tuesday.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says 51-year-old Daniel Duchene's truck collided with a car driven by 46-year-old Cheryl Athmann of Melrose.

The crash happened as Duchene was heading northbound on 353rd Avenue in Spring Hill Township and Athmann was heading east on Stearns County Road 14.

Athmann was taken to Paynesville Hospital for treatment.

Duchene was cited for driving after cancellation.
