Melrose Riverfest Wraps Up with Full Day of Events

MELROSE - The Saturday schedule is jammed for Melrose Riverfest.

The three-day festival reaches the finale today with a day's worth of activities.

Highlights include a kickball tournament at noon, sponsored by the Melrose Fire Department, a 4p.m. "Polka Mass" at St. Mary's church, and a variety of games for adults and kids starting at 5:00 p.m.

The band "Sweet Siren" will perform at 8:30 p.m, and the night will wrap with fireworks at about 10:15 p.m.
