Melrose Police Department Hires New Chief

MELROSE -- The Melrose Police Department will soon have a new top cop in town. Sergeant Craig Maus replaces current chief John Jensen who officially retires on May 16th.

Maus' first official day on the job is May 17th. He has served with the department for about 13 years.

Chief Jensen was hired on in October 1983. The Department is now accepting applications to fill an open full-time and part-time officer position. The application deadline is March 24th.
