Deputy Marc Berris proposed the idea, due to the recent loss of his aunt to breast cancer.

Sheriff Brian Cruze says he'll be wearing a pink badge himself.

The American Cancer Society says more than 231,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year.
