Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast Draws Hundreds to Convention Center [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – Around 700 people arrived at the River’s Edge Convention Center on Thursday morning for food and music during the annual area Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast.

The celebration kicks off a day’s worth of leadership and interpersonal relationship training and presentations.

Pam Nelson is one of the chief event organizers. She says they’ve designed an event which offers something for everyone.

The morning included a talk by best-selling author Shaunti Feldhahn, focused on strategies for effective communication.

Nelson says it took about 9 months to get the Prayer Breakfast off the ground. They’ve been hosting the event for a long time, but she says this year’s might be the most successful.
