Mayor Kleis Hosts Seberger Park Playground Dedication [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - The Seberger-Roosevelt Neighborhood joined St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis at Seberger Park yesterday (Tuesday) for the dedication of the new playground.

The Seberger-Roosevelt Neighborhood Association began planning for the improvement back in 2009.

The association chair Dean Reller says that prior to the renovation the park wasn't in the best condition.

The neighborhood association funded the project through a Community Development Block Grant.

Reller says that the association learned of the grant through the City's Park and Recreation Department.

Renovations to the park include a flower garden, resurfacing of the basketball court, renovations to the ball field, along with the installation of benches and trash cans.
