Maxine G. Carpenter, 82, Watkins and formerly of St. Cloud

Maxine Gertrude Carpenter, age 82 Watkins, MN, formerly of St. Cloud, MN, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at Hilltop Care Center, Watkins, MN.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.

Maxine was born April 15, 1935 in Sauk Centre, MN to William and Regine (Speiker) Trisco. She married Kenneth Lee Carpenter on December 29, 1985 in Las Vegas, NV. Maxine was employed by Century Link (formerly called US West and Qwest) for 23 years, retiring in August 1997.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherri (Ronald ) Brouwer of St. Cloud, MN; grandsons, Greg (Carly) Rick of Oakland, CA; and Andrew (fiancé Janae) Rick of Minneapolis, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth on July 10, 2001, daughter, Sandra Rick in 2007, three brothers and four sisters.

Memorials are preferred to Central Minnesota Animal Care and Control of Sauk Rapids, MN.
