Max Cyril Stimmler, age 39, of Princeton passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17, 2016. He was born September 15, 1976 in Coon Rapids, MN the son of Max D. and Carol M. (Neis) Stimmler.

Max grew up in the Elk River area, he was very active in basketball, football, and baseball during his high school years. School work always came very easy for Max and so he dedicated his time to being competitive in sports. Max graduated from Elk River High School in the class of 1995. He furthered his education by attending Brainerd Staples Technical College for Machinist Training. He married Jessica “Jessie” Wilds on July 25, 1998 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Anoka. Max worked as a machinist for Mate Precision Tooling in Anoka; he always worked very hard to support his family. He was a handyman and could fix or build anything, usually in the company of his two sons. Max enjoyed pan fishing with his family on several area lakes. He was quiet, gentle, loving, and helping of others in need. Most importantly, Max loved his family, especially his boys beyond words. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Max is survived by his wife, Jessie of Princeton; sons, Johnny and Jared both of Princeton; parents, Max and Carol Stimmler of Elk River; siblings, Michael Stimmler of Elk River, Christopher (Emily) of Elk River, Colleen (Andrew) Wiley of Zimmerman; nieces and nephews, Thomas and Isabella Wiley; Ruby, Eli, and Myles Stimmler; mother-in-law, Marguarite Wilds of Elk River. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; aunt, Sharon Stimmler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish, North Campus in Princeton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 4-8PM with a prayer service beginning at 5:00PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
