ST.PAUL (AP) — Authorities are searching for two masked robbers who held up a St. Paul bank and locked up employees before escaping in a pickup that they set on fire.

The FBI says the suspects approached two employees opening for the day at a TCF Bank at 6:45 a.m. Monday and demanded to be let in.

The robbers forced the employees to let them in the vault, collected cash and then locked the employees in a room.

The robbers fled in a pickup that was found torched less than a quarter-mile away. From there, the suspects got in an SUV and fled.

The employees were freed from the locked room.

The FBI did not have a detailed description of the robbers, who did not display any weapons.
