Mary M. Lutgen, 65, St. Cloud

November 27, 1950 - December 17, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, MN for Mary M. Lutgen, age 65, of St. Cloud, who passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Maplewood, MN. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the Church. Parish prayers will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Mary was born on November 27, 1950 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Jacob and Alvina (Wiener) Goering. She worked for many years as a nurse’s assistant before working and retiring from Frigidaire. Mary was active with the International Order of Job’s Daughters for many years and a proud member of the Red Cross.

She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and traveling with her best friend Rose. Mary deeply loved her family and enjoyed every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Chris) Gallaty of Plymouth; grandchildren, Julian and Felicity; siblings, James (Linda) of Minneapolis, Kathy (Bob) Trainer of Mason City, Iowa, Michael of Waite Park, Richard (Tenny) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jackie Goering of Waite Park; many nieces and nephews; and Paula (Travis)Hansen of Foley and their daughters, Hailee and Lilee.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John.
