Mary Lou Clitty, 83, Sartell

January 24, 1933 - March 13, 2016

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11 AM at the New Life Church (931 Norman Avenue in Foley) for Mary Lou Clitty, age 83 of Sartell who died Sunday. Pastor Jim VonWald will officiate and burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Mary Lou was born in St. Cloud, MN to Robert and Alma (Hartman) Clitty. She was employed for over 15 years in customer service for the Fingerhut Distribution Center retiring in 1996. She was an RSVP volunteer at Whitney Senior Center. She enjoyed knitting, planting flowers, garage sales, dancing, singing and music. She was an excellent baker and her specialty was cakes. Mary Lou enjoyed her little dogs and spending time with her family. She loved talking to people, and never met anybody she didn’t like.

She is survived by her children; Robert Zencius of Sauk Rapids and LuAnn (Brad) Martin of Sauk Rapids; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her sons, Charles and Arnold Zencius; brother, Robert Clitty and sisters, Randie Leverton and Mildred Hess.
