Mary E. Pederson, 80, Sauk Rapids

December 14, 1934 - March 5, 2015

Mary E. Pederson, age 80, of Sauk Rapids passed away Thursday at her home. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids. There will be a time of sharing at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis at a later date.

Mary was born Dec. 14, 1934 in Ulen, MN to Hans & Beulah (Legore) Helgedalen. She married Charles Pederson on March 28, 1953 in Moorhead, MN. Mary worked as a cook at SCSU and the Anoka County Jail. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, Minnesota Wild Hockey, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was faithful, easy going, forgiving, accepting and thoughtful.

Survivors include her daughter, Beth (Greg) Roles of St. Cloud; son, William; four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; fifteen brothers and sisters; and one great grandson.
