Martinella “Martz” Muggli, 98, Cold Spring

February 11, 1917 - October 16, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Martinella “Martz” Muggli, age 98, who died Friday at the Assumption Home. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the St. Boniface Church.

Martz was born in Albany to Michael and Magdalene (Schneider) Lutgen. She married Steve J. Muggli on October 11, 1938 in Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Martz was an avid card player. She loved to clean fish for her family, crochet, embroider, bake, and garden. Martz was very outgoing and loved to meet people. She was a member of Christian Women, St. Julian Mission Group, and St. Boniface Parish.

She is survived by her children, Steve A. (Lora), Francis, Louise, Joanne (Alan) Peterson, and Paula Muggli (Lon Enerson); 3 granddaughters, Deborah Muggli (Murray Manson), Cheryl Muggli, and Monique Muggli (Pete Harper); 3 great-grandsons, Rowan, Connor, and Mack.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve J. (1990); and 8 siblings.
