Martin was born February 24, 1925 in Spring Hill the middle child of Ben and Mary (Hiltner) Wolbeck. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Martin worked as a truck driver for Borgert for over 35 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Sauk Rapids VFW Post 6992, and Sauk Rapids American Legion Post 254.
