Marlins Blank Twins 3-0; Baker Named 5th Starter
The Twins lost 3-0 to the Florida Marlins Tuesday afternoon in Jupiter, Florida. Carl Pavano threw 6 innings with 7 hits and 2 earned runs allowed to take the loss. Minnesota managed just 5 hits with Tsuyoshi Nishioka having two of them. Nishioka is batting .351 this spring. The Twins will play Baltimore at 6:05 tonight, pregame on WJON at 6:00 in Fort Myers, Florida. The Twins also named righthander Scott Baker as their 5th starter in their rotation with Kevin Slowey being relegated to the bullpen.
