Mark Post: Alise’s Olympic Appearance ‘Becoming Real’ [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - Alise Post's dad says the reality of his daughter being an Olympian is starting to set in.

There was a send-off party for the Post family this (Thursday) evening at the Pineview Park BMX track in St. Cloud.

Mark Post says Alise just arrived in London today (Thursday).

Mark Post says they'll be leaving for London on Monday, but he doesn't know how much contact he'll have with Alise.

Post says, even though the goal is a gold medal, he mostly just wants her to do well and have a positive experience.

She'll get on the track for the first time on Wednesday, with the finals next Friday.

There are 10 people from the area going to watch her race, including: her parents, her two brothers, her grandparents, and St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis.
