Marion D. Jagielski, 85, St. Cloud

January 20, 1930 - January 19, 2016

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Marion D. Jagielski, age 85 of St. Cloud who passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Cloud. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. The Rosary Sodality will pray at 4:00 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Marion was born January 20, 1930 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Frank and Rose (Salaski) Jagielski. She was employed by Dezurik in Sartell for over 40 years as a Material Controller retiring in 1995. Marion was a member of St. John Cantius Parish, Rosary Sodality, Daughters of Isabella Stella Maris Circle #558, American Legion Unit #428 Auxiliary, Crosier Apostolate, St. Cloud Eagles Aerie #622 Auxiliary and volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Marion enjoyed playing 500 and cribbage, bowling and trips with Bernie.

Marion is survived by friends, Esther (Robert) Ebnet and their family, Mark, Jean, Brady, Bryce, Tammy, Dalton and Maddie all of Sauk Rapids; Fred (Carolina) Shermock of St. Cloud; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bernadette; and brother, Al “Bud”.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to Quiet Oaks Hospice House.
