Marijuana Plants Found During Apartment Fire

ST. JOSEPH - Authorities responded to a fire and discovered a marijuana growing operation.

The fire was in a laundry room at a St. Joseph apartment building on College Avenue South.

After the fire was put out, neighboring apartments were checked.  That's when firefighters discovered the marijuana growing in apartment 7.  The Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force was called in and executed a search warrant.  They found 166 plants growing in several rooms, along with other controlled substances.
