Services celebrating the life of Marie Bischoff, 91, Cold Spring, will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Church of St. Anthony, St. Cloud. Fr. Tom Knoblach will officiate and burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Marie passed away Wednesday evening with family at her side at the Assumption Nursing Home, Cold Spring. There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Marie was born on January 25, 1925 to Anton and Blanche (Hageman) Niewind in Roscoe. She grew up one of six children and attended the local school. At 20 years old, she married Edmund Bischoff on November 17, 1945 in Roscoe. They raised 3 children together and Marie worked in the offices of JCPenney, Fingerhut, and Herberger’s. Marie liked little dogs, and to spend time knitting, crafting, and visiting with friends. She had a sweet tooth and enjoyed playing the piano for her family when they came to visit her. Marie was a member of St. Anthony’s, the Christian Women, and volunteered her time as a foster grandparent.

Marie is survived by her children Robert (Sandy) Bischoff, Richmond; Michael (Sharon) Bischoff, Ramsey; Patricia (Brad) McIntosh, Rice; her brother Melvin “Butch” (Marlene Niewind); seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

She is greeted in Heaven by her husband of 30 years, Edmund, her parents Anton and Blanche, her siblings Harold, Florence, and Stanley Niewind.
