The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Marcella "Sally" Bergmann, age 84 of Albany, will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 25 at the St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Sally died Saturday at the Mother Of Mercy Senior Living in Albany. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Thursday, at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Albany and again after 10:00 AM, Friday at the church in St. Rosa. St. Rose parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Sally was born September 28, 1932 to John and Adella (Kerfield) Blommel. She married Loren Bergmann on May 12, 1954 in Sacred Heart Church in Freeport. The couple moved to Minneapolis where they lived for 20 years before they moved to the Big Birch Lake area. Sally worked at the Mother Of Mercy Senior Living, Fingerhut and she and Loren owned the Travelounge in Melrose. They eventually retired in Albany. She was a member of St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa and she was a past member of Incarnation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, where she had been very active.

Sally is survived by her loving children, John (Jayne) Bergmann, Bradenton, FL; Cindy (Jack) Sandberg, Hutchinson; Judy (John) Schulte, Eden Prairie; Gregg (Patty Kringen) Bergmann, Albany; Jason (Lindsay) Bergmann, Albany; Lisa (Eric) Roling, Brooklyn Park; her sisters, Helen (Eb) Hinnenkamp, Birch Lake; Alice (Wally) Hoeschen, Freeport; and Annie (David) Stommes, Nine Mile Falls, WA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Loren on December 16, 2012, her brothers, Roman Blommel and Norbert Blommel, and her sister, Marlene Hinnenkamp.
