Maple Grove Man Hurt in Crash Near Clearwater

CLEARWATER -- A Maple Grove man was hurt in a crash in Clearwater this (Thursday) morning.

This incident happened shortly after 9:00 a.m.

The state patrol says a car driven by 51-year-old Cheryl Cadwell of Fargo, North Dakota was exiting the Clearwater Travel Plaza to go west onto Nelson Drive when it pulled out in front of a truck driven by 57-year-old Jacob Reuben, who was heading north on Highway 24.

The truck went into the ditch and struck a light pole. Reuben was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Cadwell was not hurt in the crash.
