Man Struck, Killed by Bus in Downtown Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Police say a man crossing a street in downtown Minneapolis has died after he was struck by a Metro Transit bus.

Reports say the crash happened just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.

A Metro Transit spokesman says it's not known if the man was in a crosswalk.

Witnesses are being interviewed.

The bus driver will be tested and interviewed, which is standard procedure.
