UPDATE: Police Release Bus/Pedestrian Victim’s Name

ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Police have released the name of the man who was hit by a bus.

Twenty-year-old Andrew James Boedigheimer, of St. Cloud, was hit by as bus walking on the side of the road.

The St. Cloud Police Department says the incident happened just after 7:00 a.m. this (Thursday) morning in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, along a frontage road running parallel along the north side of County Road 75, just west of Cooper Avenue.

The bus was traveling westbound. Boedigheimer was walking east.  He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital and treated for substantial injuries.

The bus is a District 742 school bus, which did not have any children on board at the time.

The State Patrol was called in to help with reconstructing the crash. Traffic on County Road 75 was not affected.
