Man Stabs Himself With Knife Instead Of Alleged Victim

A St. Cloud man stabbed himself during a fight with another man early this morning.

St. Cloud police say they were called to an apartment at 2500 Stearns Way at 3:30 a.m.  this morning. There they found 24-year-old Nathaniel Kosciolek bleeding from the arm.

Police say Kosciolek threatened a 25-year-old with the knife. The victim defended himself resulting in Kosciolek stabbing himself in the arm.

Kosciolek was treated for his injuries and transferred to the Stearns County Jail where he awaits assault charges.
