Man Pulled from Mississippi River Early Sunday Morning

ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud fire department rescued a man who fell into the icy Mississippi River early this (Sunday) morning.

The incident happened just before 1:00 a.m. on the west bank, near the fishing pier, below the dam.

Fire crews were helping St. Cloud police search for the missing man when they discovered him in the water.

He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.  His condition is not known.  No other details are available.
