Man Missing in Leech Lake After Canoe Apparently Capsizes

WALKER, Minn. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a man in northern Minnesota's Leech Lake after the canoe he was in apparently capsized.

Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch says authorities received a report of an overturned canoe just before 7 p.m. Tuesday. They've been searching since for a 66-year-old man from Federal Dam. His name wasn't immediately released.

Numerous local, state and tribal agencies are involved in the search.
