Man Killed in Apparent Minneapolis Hit and Run

Police TapeMINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis police say a man has died in a hit-and-run collision, and they’re asking for the public’s help in locating the driver and vehicle.

Police responded to a 911 call Saturday about 2:30 a.m. reporting a man lying in the street. When officers arrived they found the man with serious injuries. The 42-year-old was rushed to a hospital, where he eventually died.

Police say the nature of his injuries suggests he’d been struck by a vehicle.
