Man Killed At Party In Farm Field Near Austin

AUSTIN (AP) - Authorities say an Austin man has died after he was hit by an SUV in a field during a party.

Freeborn County sheriff's officials say 30-year-old Alex Tapp was struck by the Chevy Suburban while attending the pasture party in Oakland Township Saturday night.

Other people at the party started CPR, but emergency responders were unable to revive him. The investigation is ongoing.
