MOTLEY -- Morrison County authorities have jailed a 32-year-old man after a high speed chase Monday morning between the towns of Motley and Cushing.

Motley Police were called just before 8:00 a.m. to assist with a driving complaint on Highway 10.

The suspect's car was spotted in the city of Motley and police tried to make a traffic stop.

Authorities say the driver, Adam Inerrieden, fled southbound on Highway 10 at a high rate of speed. Inerrieden then allegedly crossed the center median and continued south in the northbound lanes. Officers were able to put spike strips out in the town of Cushing and stop the vehicle.

Inerrieden was arrested on suspicion of fleeing police, DWI and drug possession.
