Man Indicted in Death of 2nd Woman Found in Trunk
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A man has been charged in the death of a second woman whose body was found in the trunk of a car in the Minneapolis area.
A Hennepin County grand jury Thursday indicted Alberto Palmer on two counts of first-degree murder.
Reports say the latest charges against Palmer come in the death of 24-year-old Klaressa Cook of St. Paul. Palmer was charged earlier this year with killing 18-year-old Brittany Clardy, also of St. Paul.
The bodies of both women were discovered in vehicles in Twin Cities impound lots - one in Anoka County, one in Minneapolis.
Cook's body was discovered last May in a car that had been towed to Minneapolis from Brooklyn Park.
Palmer has been in the Anoka County jail awaiting trial in Clardy's death.
