MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a man struck and killed by a light-rail train in Minneapolis as he tried to cross the tracks in his wheelchair.

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office identifies the victim as 61-year-old Daniel Wease.

Wease was crossing the tracks in his wheelchair Sunday evening when his wheelchair apparently got stuck.

Wease was hit by a Blue Line train just before 6 p.m. He later died at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

His death was the second in the past month and the 13th on the Blue Line since service began in 2004.
