ST. CLOUD — A St. Cloud man was ticketed for running a red light and had to be treated for injuries after his car was hit at a St. Cloud intersection.

It happened just before 10:30 this morning.

Police say 24-year-old Asho Hiir was headed north on 33rd Avenue when he failed to stop for a red light at Highway 23. That’s when 37-year-old John Adams of Washburn, Wisconsin — who was headed east on Highway 23 — slammed into Hiir’s car.

Hiir was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and ticketed for a red light violation.
