Man Hit by Car While Standing on I-94

ALBERTVILLE - A Monticello man was hurt Saturday night when he was hit by a car while running across westbound lanes of Interstate 94 near Albertville.

The State Patrol says 41-year-old Alejandro Merino crashed his car into the median.  He then got out of his car and ran onto the road.  Alcohol is thought to be a factor.

The incident happened at 10:20 p.m.
