ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE (AP) -- The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating an officer-involved shooting that left a man dead at a trailer park in St. Anthony Village.

Authorities received a report of shots being fired just before 10:00 p.m. Thursday at a trailer.

As police approached, a man inside a trailer told them there were two other armed people inside and he had exchanged gunfire with them.

Officers took cover and called in the East Metro SWAT Team.

As SWAT officers approached, a man came outside with a rifle, and was shot and killed by police.

SWAT officers entered the trailer and found no one.

Police believe there were never any other people involved.

The BCA says three members of the East Metro SWAT Team - all officers with the Roseville Police Department- fired their weapons.

No officers were hurt.
