Man Dies In Chisago County Tractor Accident

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - An 81-year-old man is dead after being pinned beneath a tractor in Chisago County.

According to the county sheriff's department, deputies originally received a call of a missing man in the Nessel Township around 4 p.m. Sunday. But before they could arrive they received another call reporting the man was found under a tractor. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The sheriff's office says the apparent accident is still under investigation.

Sheriff's officials were still notifying the victim's family and haven't yet released his name.
