PLYMOUTH (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a man in his 30s died in an apparent drowning accident at an indoor swimming pool in Plymouth.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex. It says a family member and another person already had pulled the unresponsive man out of the pool by the time first responders arrived.

The sheriff's office says paramedics tried to revive the man, but their attempts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's identity hasn't been released, but authorities say he lived in the apartment building.

A 16-year-old boy drowned in the same pool last spring.
