ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud man is being held on $200,000 bail after an incident where he is accused of making threats against against two children and two adults.

According to the criminal complaint, a woman was moving her belongings from a home in the 800 block of 19th Avenue North, when her live-in boyfriend, 42-year-old Kent Schuette, arrived and started making threats.

Records show Schuette brandished a butterfly knife and chased two children at the scene with the knife. The kids were able to lock themselves safely inside a van. Schuette then allegedly slashed a tire on the van and threatened to burn the house down and that he didn't care who was inside. He also threatened a man who was helping Schuette's girlfriend move.

The four victims left and went to a different home. Schuette then allegedly drove by that house at least 10 times and made a gesture with his hand to indicate it was a gun and he would shoot the male friend.

Schuette was booked into the Stearns County Jail on five charges of making terroristic threats. According to court documents Schuette admitted to using methamphetamine.
