Man Charged in St. Cloud Shooting
ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud man is being held on $250-thousand bail after he was charged with first degree assault Monday.
23-year-old Ronnie Snelling was charged with one count of first degree assault with a dangerous weapons, causing great bodily harm.
According to the criminal complaint, Snelling and another man had an ongoing argument for a few days before Snelling shot the other man September 6th.
The victim was hit in the upper back and lower abdomen. One of the bullet wounds required surgery to have a portion of the victim's small intestine and colon removed.
Snelling has denied any involvement in the shooting.
