MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities are holding a 25-year-old man in the death of a man killed last week when a rolling gun battle ended in a car crash in north Minneapolis.

Minneapolis police say the suspect was arrested Monday in Brooklyn Park. He is reportedly being held without bond at Hennepin County Jail but has not been charged.

Twenty-two-year-old Kelontay Croom of St. Paul died of injuries suffered in the crash last Thursday. Police say a dispute between two groups of people in two cars led to a chase and gunfire.

Shots were fired before both cars crashed. Croom died at the scene. A woman from the other vehicle was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with a gunshot wound.
