Man Arrested For Drug, Paraphernalia Possession

ST. CLOUD - A man has been arrested for allegedly having marijuana as well as other illegal items.

St. Cloud Police say they pulled over 25 year old Cory Schmitz of St. Cloud in the 100 block of 6th Avenue North for expired registration.

During the stop, they reported smelling alcohol and marijuana. A search of the vehicle turned up a small amount of marijuana, paraphernalia, and a controlled substance.

Schmitz was arrested and charged for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

He was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail.
