Man Arrested for Driving Drunk, Fleeing Police

A man has been arrested for fleeing arrest while drunk.

Police attempted to pull 39 year old Anthony Alexander of St. Cloud over for driving on the wrong side of the street near West St. Germain and 1st street North in St. Cloud.

It happened just after 1o p.m. yesterday.

Alexander ran a stop sign while driving away from officers who had put their lights on. Police set up a perimeter and caught Alexander in the 1800 block of West St. Germain.

He's currently being held in Stearn County Jail.
